This wonderful dry white wine is perfectly paired with shellfish and most seafood. Aligoté is the other white wine of Burgundy and a varietal that we are starting to see getting planted in Oregon. currently I only know of a couple others in the northern Willamette Valley. The Malliris Vineyard has just a quarter acre planted.
